Oil enters the filter housing under pressures typically ranging between 3 to 8 bars. Driven through a central column, the pressurized oil flows directly into a highly balanced internal rotor assembly designed to rotate at high speeds.
Inside the rotor base, oil exits through two opposite-facing tangential nozzles. The reaction force of these high-velocity oil jets creates a self-driven mechanical rotation. The rotor spins at speeds ranging from 5,000 to 8,000 RPM.
This high spin generates centrifugal forces exceeding 2,000 times gravity (2,000 G). Heavy contaminants like soot, metal wear particles, and carbon sludge are forced outward against the rotor wall, forming a solid cake, while clean oil returns to the engine or system.
